The OpportunityWe’re working with a busy and well-established dealership in Basingstoke that’s looking to appoint an experienced Workshop Controller. This is a key role within the aftersales team, focused on driving workshop efficiency, maximising productivity, and maintaining high standards of work.
Key Responsibilities*Oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop
*Allocate work effectively based on technician skill set and workload
*Monitor productivity and ensure KPIs and targets are achieved
*Support, motivate, and manage the workshop team
*Liaise with Service Advisors to ensure smooth workflow
*Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
*Maintain health & safety compliance within the workshop
About You*Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or Senior Technician stepping up
*Strong technical knowledge and understanding of workshop operations
*Proven ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively
*Leadership skills with the ability to drive team performance
*Strong organisational and communication skills
*Full UK driving licence
