Responsibilities of this role:
*Lead and manage a neighbourhood-based adult social work team
*Oversee Care Act assessments, care planning, and reviews
*Provide professional supervision, support, and performance management
*Ensure safeguarding duties are met and risks managed effectively
*Maintain quality assurance of casework and decision-making
*Manage resources, workloads, budgets, and service demand
*Work with health, housing, and community partners to deliver integrated care
*Drive strengths-based, person-centred practice and service improvement
*Ensure compliance with legislation, policy, and regulatory standards
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
*Must have minimum of 3 years’ experience post qualifying working as a Qualified social worker
