Our Client, Oldham Council, is seeking an Adult’s Assistant Team Manager to join their Mental Health Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Provide practice leadership and supervision to social work and support staff
*Ensure lawful, high-quality practice under the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act, and safeguarding legislation
*Oversee complex and high-risk cases, offering guidance on risk, capacity, and best-interest decisions
*Support work allocation, workflow, and performance management
*Promote effective multi-agency working across health, housing, and partner services
*Quality-assure casework, recording, and statutory timescales
*Deputise for the Team Manager and contribute to service improvement
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
*Must have minimum of 3 years experience working as a Qualified social worker
