Salary: £1,800 - £2,400 per month (depending on experience)

About the RoleVeritas Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Islington to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 or small group basis, helping them access learning and reach their full potential.
The school has a strong focus on inclusion, with a supportive SEN team and a nurturing environment.
The Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant Will Have:*Experience working with children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs)
*A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
*Experience in a UK school setting (desirable but not essential)
Main Responsibilities:*Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN
*Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
*Help implement EHCP targets and support strategies
*Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
*Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
