The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller and sitting within the Reporting team, this is a broad and high-impact role with ownership of key financial processes and strong visibility across the business.
This opportunity is ideally suited to an ACA-qualified accountant making their first move from a Top 10 audit firm, looking to apply their technical expertise in a fast-paced, commercial environment. You’ll lead month-end, deliver accurate and insightful reporting, and play a key role in audit, compliance, and stakeholder engagement, while gaining exposure across the wider business and contributing to ongoing improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
*Oversee reconciliations, provisions, and key accounting areas
*Prepare monthly management accounts and consolidated reporting
*Deliver board and audit committee reporting, including quarterly updates
*Own ESG reporting and disclosure requirements
*Partner with the business to analyse expenses and explain variances
*Act as the main contact for external and internal audits, ensuring smooth delivery
*Support tax, statutory reporting, and wider business projects as required
What we’re looking for:
*ACA Qualified Accountant from a top 10 Audit firm
*Experience owning the preparation of financial statements
*Advanced Excel capability, with confidence handling large datasets
*Strong analytical mindset with a high level of accuracy
*Clear and confident communicator, able to engage with a range of stakeholders
*Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally Oracle
*Well-developed numerical, organisational, and relationship-building skills
*A balanced mix of technical accounting knowledge and commercial awareness
Location: London / Hybrid (4 days in-office + flexible working hours)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + benefits + bonus
