Credit Risk Analyst
Salary
Base £50,000-£60,000 + benefits
Location + work pattern
London | Office-based Monday-Thursday, remote on Fridays

THE COMPANY*A UK-based FinTech scale-up operating in the consumer lending space.

THE ROLE
This is an early-career credit risk role focused on acquisition and underwriting strategy for a growing loan portfolio. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to support credit decisioning and help shape risk strategies as new products launch.Specifically, you can expect to be involved in:*Supporting acquisition credit strategies, including originations and scorecard cut-offs.
*Assisting with underwriting policy design and accept/decline decision logic.
*Analysing customer and credit data to identify trends and optimisation opportunities.
*Helping to improve and monitor automated decisioning systems.
*Gaining exposure to credit modelling projects where there is interest.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE*1-2 years’ experience in a credit risk, analytics, or financial services role.
*Exposure to credit strategy, policy, scoring, or portfolio/MI analysis.
*Experience working with customer or credit data to generate insights.
*Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
*Interest in developing technical skills further, including credit modelling.
*Clear communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
