Are you an experienced Development Planner ready to play a key role in shaping one of London’s most ambitious regeneration programmes? I’m working with a highly respected urban regeneration delivery organisation in East London that is looking to appoint a Senior Development Planner to support its expanding portfolio.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of large-scale, complex development projects that are transforming communities and delivering thousands of new homes, jobs, and infrastructure.
The RoleAs a Senior Development Planner, you’ll sit within a dynamic, multidisciplinary development team and take a leading role in managing planning strategy and delivery across a diverse pipeline of projects.
You will:
*Lead on planning applications for major residential and mixed-use schemes
*Provide strategic planning advice across multiple development sites
*Manage relationships with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders
*Support land promotion and site acquisition strategies
*Navigate complex policy, viability, and delivery challenges
*Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practice
About YouWe’re looking for someone who combines strong technical planning knowledge with a commercial mindset and a passion for placemaking.
You will ideally have:
*Significant experience in development planning (public or private sector)
*Proven track record delivering complex, large-scale schemes
*Strong understanding of the London planning system and policy landscape
*Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
*RTPI accreditation (or working towards it)
