We are working with a supportive secondary school in Bexley that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year.
The Role
*Teaching History at KS3 and KS4
*Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
*Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet a range of abilities
*Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement
*Working collaboratively within a well-established humanities department
The Ideal Candidate
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience teaching History in a UK secondary school
*Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management
*Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
*Reliable, adaptable and available for a fixed-term commitment
