SANZA Teaching Agency are working with a number of wonderful primary schools in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. They are looking to fill a number of Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) roles to begin in September 2026.
Further information:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will work across the school, supporting in EYFS, KS1 & KS2.
You will cover lessons during class teachers’ allocated planning and preparation times (PPA), as well as covering lessons in the absence of class teachers.


To apply for the position of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA):
*You will ideally hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification
*If not, you will ideally hold a university qualification and have experience as a primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
*You must be flexible and adaptable, and able to easily adjust to changing of classes and year groups
*You must have strong behaviour management skills
*You must have strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
*You must be able to build rapport quickly, adjusting to new students and classes regularly
