Job Description:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Accountant to support the finance function, with a primary focus on inter-company accounting and payroll reconciliations.

Description
*Prepare and process payroll reports, including tax filings and pension contributions.
*Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee enquiries in a timely manner.
*Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity.
*Assist in month-end and year-end payroll processes, including reconciliations and audits.
*Stay updated on changes to payroll legislation and ensure compliance
*Assist in preparing and posting inter-company invoices and journals across the group.
*Reconcile inter-company balances across multiple entities and currencies
*Investigate and resolve discrepancies
*Support monthly inter-company close processes and ensure deadlines are met
Profile
A successful Payroll Accountant should have:
*Strong knowledge of payroll reconciliations and inter-company accounting
*Proficiency in accounting and finance principles.
*Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
*Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
*Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
*Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
*Familiarity with UK payroll legislation and tax regulations.
*Experience or exposure to multi-currency accounting (Desirable)
*Experience in payroll processing or reconciliation, ideally in a multinational or multi-entity (Desirable).
