Salary: £14.24 - £15.00 per hour
Start Date: 1st June 2026
Contract: Full-time, Term-time
Are you an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant seeking a stable, long-term role in Blackpool?
Our inclusive Primary Academy is looking for a proactive and positive Year 5 General TA to join our team. This position begins on 1st June 2026 for the remainder of the summer term. This initial period provides a fantastic opportunity for you to settle into the school and secure the post for the full 2026/2027 academic year (September 2026 - July 2027).
The Candidate
We are looking for a professional who is committed to the development of our pupils. To be successful, you must have:
*Prior School Experience: Essential experience working within a UK classroom setting.
*Curriculum Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum to drive pupil attainment, specifically supporting Year 5 expectations.
*A Positive Outlook: A "can-do" attitude and a passion for inclusive education.
*Commitment: Excellent attendance and a desire for long-term consistency for our learners.

Our Academy is a warm, inclusive community. While this is a General TA post, we have a high SEN profile (40%). You will work with a vibrant mix of needs and abilities, making every day rewarding and diverse. You will be supported by a leadership team that values staff well-being and professional growth.
