Job Title: Maths Teacher

Pay Rate: £145-£230 per day
We are looking for a committed and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to provide high-quality teaching in line with the national curriculum and school expectations. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, tracking student progress, and supporting learners with a range of abilities. The successful candidate will foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encourage active participation, and uphold high standards of behaviour and achievement.
Key Responsibilities*Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons that cater to a range of abilities and align with the national curriculum.
*Assess, record, and report on student progress, offering clear and constructive feedback to both students and parents/carers.
*Develop and prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching resources.
*Maintain a safe, supportive, and well-managed classroom environment.
*Identify individual learning needs and implement targeted support or interventions where necessary.
*Uphold school values and consistently follow safeguarding, health, and safety policies.
Essential Qualifications*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
*Experience teaching GCSE Maths at secondary level.
Experience*Experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting, ideally across Key Stages 3 and 4.
*Proven ability to plan, deliver, and assess lessons that support student progress.
*Familiarity with school procedures and effective classroom management techniques.
Knowledge and Skills*Strong subject knowledge, including curriculum requirements and assessment frameworks.
*Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities when working with students, staff, and parents/carers.
*Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs
*Pay rate dependent on experience.
