About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in North Tyneside for a long-term position. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to supporting children’s learning and development across the primary age range.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher

*Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 as required

*Work closely with teaching staff to plan and prepare learning activities

*Provide targeted interventions to support pupil progress

*Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

*Support pupils with a range of needs, including SEN where appropriate

Requirements:
*HLTA qualification or equivalent experience

*Proven experience working within a primary school setting

*Strong classroom management skills

*A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning

*Excellent communication and teamwork skills

*A genuine passion for education and child development
