Job Description:
Do you have experience working with SEN pupils? Do you want to work in a positive but challenging environment?
An opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Y5 pupil.
Start date: ASAP
8:30 - 3:30pm
Daily rate: £92 - £110 daily rate (Dependant on Qualification and Experience)
To be considered for this position you must have:
*Teaching assistant qualification or at least 6 months experience
*Experience working with SEN pupils
*Be resilient, firm but fair and show empathy and encouragement
*Available full time from May 2026
*Great ability to interact with pupils and keep them engaged
The Role:
*Full time role, Monday - Friday 8.30am-3.30pm
*School based in Blyth
*Working within KS2 Team and SENDCO, supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis with SEND
*Summer Term Role, with potential to be extended
All of our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard-earned cash.
