We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Computer Science Teacher who can quickly integrate into the school and confidently deliver GCSE Computer Science across a wide range of topics. The Role*Plan and deliver a broad, balanced, and engaging Computer Science curriculum across Key Stages 3–5
*Teach GCSE Computer Science confidently, covering all core topics and exam requirements
*Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring progress for students of varying abilities
*Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing clear feedback to support achievement
*Support students’ academic and personal development, promoting a growth mindset and positive learning behaviours
*Maintain a well-managed, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
*Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental meetings, and wider school initiatives
*Uphold school policies, including safeguarding, behaviour management, and health and safety
What We’re Looking For*A teacher who can quickly build rapport with students and staff and "hit the ground running"
*Strong subject knowledge across Computer Science, including programming, algorithms, and computer systems
*Confidence in delivering GCSE content, with A-Level teaching experience desirable
*Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
*A proactive, flexible, and resilient approach to teaching
Qualifications and Experience*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
*A degree in Computer Science or a closely related subject
*Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level, ideally across KS3 and KS4.
*Proven ability to deliver engaging lessons that support student progress
