We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Geography and History to join our successful and supportive secondary school in Basildon. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed practitioner who is passionate about their subjects and keen to make a positive impact on students learning.
About the Role
· Teaching Geography and History across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE experience desirable)
· Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
· Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress
· Contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment
· Working collaboratively within the Humanities department
The Ideal Candidate Will:
· Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it
· Have strong subject knowledge in Geography and/or History
· Be an effective classroom practitioner with good behaviour management skills
· Be enthusiastic, organised and committed to high standards
· Be ready to start as soon as possible
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply, as are experienced teachers seeking a new challenge.
