Project Engineer
*Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Bonus
*Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage and perform the design, implementation, and start-up phases of capital investment projects, ensuring they meet the objectives outlined in the project charter and design specifications.
*Collaborate with the Project Engineering Manager to develop and adhere to the investment project charter.
*Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and site rules, monitor environmental impacts, and adhere to site environmental requirements.
*Oversee the commissioning of plant and equipment to predetermined standards.
*Manage and control the activities of third-party contractors on-site.
*Liaise with Operations and other on-site resources for project work, and collaborate with R&D, Marketing, and Logistics regarding scope, time plan, and budget.
*Assist in the development of scope and budget for various projects up to £5 million; develop timing plans.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*High-calibre engineer with Apprentice training, HNC, or Degree in Engineering.
*Comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering.
*Proven experience managing multiple projects in manufacturing.
*Familiarity with CDM regulations and knowledge of process and packaging equipment.
*Skills in financial management, including reviewing, controlling, forecasting, purchasing, and price negotiation.
*IT skills, experience in SAP is advantageous but not essential.
