Warehouse Operative / Stock Controller (FLT Licence)The OpportunityAn established and growing business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative / Stock Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a key role within the operation, combining hands-on warehouse duties with responsibility for accurate stock control.
Key Responsibilities*Managing stock control processes, including goods in/out and regular stock takes
*Maintaining accurate stock records using the warehouse management system
*Investigating and resolving stock variances
*Operating FLT (Counterbalance essential; Reach desirable)
*Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
*Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
*Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
*Supporting general warehouse operations as required
About You*Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (Reach licence advantageous)
*Proven experience in a warehouse and stock control environment
*Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to work
*Comfortable using IT systems and warehouse software
*Reliable, organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team
*Strong commitment to health and safety
