Salary: £70,000–£90,000 DOE + bonus
The Opportunity
Our client, a specialist recruitment business within the Energy Trading market, is entering a high-growth phase and is looking for a commercially minded Head of Marketing to take ownership of and scale its marketing function.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone currently operating at Head of Marketing or Senior Marketing Manager level within a recruitment agency, looking to step into a position with real ownership and impact.
The Role
You will be responsible for building and executing a clear marketing strategy that drives brand visibility, market credibility, and, crucially, pipeline generation across both candidates and clients.
With an initial focus on LinkedIn and content-led growth, you’ll work closely with leadership and billing teams to turn market insight into tangible commercial outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Own and deliver the marketing strategy aligned to business growth goals
*Build and elevate the brand, with a strong focus on LinkedIn and digital channels
*Launch and manage market insight reports (hiring trends, salaries, tech landscape) to drive engagement and leads
*Partner closely with consultants to extract market intelligence and turn it into compelling content
*Drive thought leadership initiatives (personal branding, content, podcasts, website)
*Support revenue generation through targeted campaigns for candidate and client acquisition
*Manage budget and marketing tools, optimising for ROI and scalability
What We’re Looking For
*Proven experience in a marketing leadership role within a recruitment agency (essential)
*Strong track record of building brand and engagement via LinkedIn
*Experience creating market insights, reports, or thought leadership content
*Commercial mindset with a clear focus on pipeline and revenue impact
*Comfortable operating in a hands-on, scale-up environment
*Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and sales teams
Why This Role?
*Genuine ownership of the marketing function
*High visibility role with direct impact on business growth
*Opportunity to shape brand and strategy in a scaling international business
*Clear progression as the company continues to expand globally
What Success Looks Like
*Increased brand visibility and engagement across key channels
*Consistent, high-quality market insight output
*Strong alignment between marketing and sales
*Measurable growth in candidate and client pipelines
