Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias)
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £43,000 – £45,000 + Bonus
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (6:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 10:00pm)
A well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Cardiff is currently looking to strengthen its engineering team with the appointment of a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical bias.

Key Responsibilities:
*Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across site equipment
*Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtime
*Fault finding and troubleshooting on PLC-controlled machinery
*Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance
*Work closely with production teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations
*Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
Key Requirements:
*Electrically biased with relevant engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)
*Proven experience in a Maintenance Technician or similar role within a manufacturing environment
*Strong PLC fault finding and troubleshooting experience
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
*Good communication skills and a flexible attitude
