Due to expansion within the Delegate Risk Solution team, a position for an Account Manager to handle delegated risks has arisen.

Your new role
Your new role as a Binding Authority/Delegated Authority Account Manager means that you will be the steady link between the brokers and the technical teams, which entails the handling of day-to-day broking and technical queries, managing referrals, owning performance and contractual reporting, alongside making sure binders, documents and dataset are accurate, signed, filed and moving. This role will be handling all classes of business, including Property, Casualty, PI, Non-Marine, UK, NA and International, all Binders business. This role sits between the commercial and technical teams.
Some of your key responsibilities will include being responsible for end-to-end oversight of a portfolio of delegated authority contracts, supporting producing brokers on broking matters including renewal strategy, capacity discussions, pricing dynamics and relationship management and participating in (sometimes leading) client and underwriter meetings.
Other key responsibilities will include leading the renewal process for delegated authority contracts within the portfolio, conducting monthly or quarterly portfolio performance reviews with brokers, underwriters and clients. You will also be acting as a senior point of contact for client and Cover holder issues, alongside supporting the Producing Broker in building and maintaining strong relationships with Coverholders, TPAs and carriers.

What you’ll need to succeed
Your previous significant experience in working with Binding Authorities or Delegated Authorities as a Technician or Account Manager will contribute to your success in securing this role. You should have a deep understanding of Lloyd’s and company market delegated authority frameworks, strong knowledge of binder construction and strong commercial awareness with the capability to support brokers on placement structure, renewal strategy, pricing consideration and capacity movements.
