Job Description:
Clinic Receptionist
*Annual Salary: £26,500 (on a Full time contract)
*Location: New Milton and Cadnam - Every Friday will be in Cadnam rest of the week in New Milton
*Job Type: Full-Time or Part Time (Min 3 days per week - Must work Wed - Thur - Fri)
*Hours (non-negotiable on hours)
Join our team as a dedicated Clinic Receptionist. This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our clinics, ensuring that all administrative tasks are handled efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical documentation and office procedures, with a professional demeanor and a proactive approach to their work.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Update patient records with new details such as change of address, and archive moved or deceased patient records using Cliniko software.
*Screen enquiries for Podiatrists & Director and register new patients at the clinic.
*Accurately record referrals for new patients on Cliniko.
*Ensure the reception area is fully stocked with essential supplies and that daily tasks are completed.
*Liaise with couriers and handle the checking and unpacking of stock deliveries, ensuring all stock is rotated according to expiry dates.
*Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the reception, kitchen/stock room, and toilet areas.
*Handle customer complaints and ensure any payment transactions are processed correctly and on time.
*Perform end-of-day till checks and report any discrepancies immediately.
*Assist with cleaning and organizing during quiet times and support the clinical team with administrative tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proficient use of computers and iPads, including Apple software (Pages & Numbers).
*Ability to be proactive and recreate existing paperwork.
*Ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively.
*General knowledge of office procedures and policies.
*Extensive knowledge of Podiatry/Chiropody terminology.
*Awareness of the rules and regulations relating to medical documentation.
