Job Description:
Elevation Recruitment Group are working on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in York to recruit a reliable and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operative.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and growing company, playing a key role in the day-to-day operations of a busy site.
Weighbridge Operative
Location: York
Hours: Full-time | 40 hours per week + every other Saturday
Salary: £36,000 – £37,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:*Operating the weighbridge system to accurately record vehicle weights in and out of site
*Ensuring all relevant documentation is completed correctly and efficiently
*Communicating with drivers, site staff, and customers in a professional manner
*Monitoring vehicle movements and maintaining site records
*Supporting general administrative duties as required
*Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For:*Previous experience in a weighbridge, logistics, or administrative role (preferred but not essential)
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Hours:*Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
*Every other Saturday (on a rota basis)
