The Job You’ll Do;
*Oversee a range of engineering activities including fault diagnostics, breakdown cover, equipment installation and general maintenance of all plant and equipment to ensure optimum efficiency.
*Attend planning meetings to submit PPM schedules.
*Liaise with operations for start-up requirements and ensure that PPM takes place as planned and agreed.
*Participate in necessary on-site audit processes.
*Compliance to company policies, standard operating procedures and legal regulations.
*Ensure accurate documentation of all necessary engineering records and reporting is maintained.
*Champion Health & Safety on-site ensuring a safe working environment
*Participate in the H&S meetings and support in leading Safety across the site
*Reporting of hazards, unsafe conditions and near misses, ensuring that all related actions are implemented across site in a timely manner.
*Management and control of contractors for all on-site activity.
*Ensure following a fair non bias tender process when reviewing contractors to assign 3rd party tasks.
*To build a united team with first-class team capability.
About You;
*Proven experience as an Engineering/Maintenance Manager or in a similar leadership role.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
*NEBOSH General Certificate, or equivalent health and safety qualification.
*Experience developing and implementing safety rules or operational policies.
*Professional interest, and enthusiasm for policy implementation and change management.
*Experience managing direct reports, and subcontracted resources.
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
*Excellent written skills
*Financial management skills and commercial awareness
*Strong technical knowledge and an aptitude for both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
