The Role
As a QA Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of a modern web-based platform.
Working closely with Product Managers and Engineers, you’ll be involved throughout the development lifecycle, not just testing features, but helping shape them. This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll act as the voice of the user and ensure a seamless experience across every release.
Key Responsibilities
*Take ownership of product quality from feature design through to release
*Design and execute thorough manual testing across web applications
*Work closely with Engineers and Product to challenge and improve features
*Identify, document, and communicate bugs and risks clearly
*Help define and improve QA processes as the team scales
*Ensure a smooth, intuitive, and high-quality user experience
Requirements
*Experience in manual testing of web-based applications
*Strong attention to detail and a user-focused mindset
*Ability to think critically and challenge assumptions constructively
*Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
*A proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership
*BSc Degree (2:1 Minimum)
Nice to have (but not essential):
*Exposure to test automation
*Experience working in agile/product-led teams
*Familiarity with modern web technologies
