Job Description:
Deputy Care Home Manager
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to be the Deputy Care Home Manager of an established residential and dementia care home in Swaffham. You’ll play a vital role in managing the day-to-day operations of the home, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Offering up to £38,000 per annum, depending on experience. 40 hours per week including alternate weekends and an expectation of 3-4 days supernumerary and on call support.

Main Responsibilities:
*Set and uphold high standards of care
*Grow, develop, and manage the care staff
*Ensure smooth operations when the General Manager is unavailable
*Work with the General Manager to set and review home standards, including ensuring monthly audits are conducted
*Ensure medications are administered properly and that all procedures are followed
*Prepare and manage rotas to ensure that residents’ needs are always met
*Maintain accurate records, respond to complaints, and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
