Job Description:
We are recruiting for a well-established, highly regarded law firm looking to hire a Risk & Compliance Manager to strengthen their existing function.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic manager to assist and strengthen the Risk and Compliance team and help shape the fast-evolving risk and compliance function
Job Requirements:
*Managing AML/KYC onboarding processes and liaising with external providers, with strong working knowledge of AML regulations
*Ensuring compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations and wider legal frameworks
*Maintaining and developing policies, procedures, and risk registers with excellent attention to detail
*Conducting file audits and ongoing compliance monitoring
*Supporting on complaints, claims, and liaising with insurers, with prior exposure to these areas preferred
*Delivering compliance training and promoting a strong compliance culture across the firm
*Working closely with senior stakeholders including COLP & COFA, with the confidence to influence where required
*Minimum 5 years’ experience within legal risk & compliance
*Strong knowledge of AML, GDPR, and broader regulatory requirements
*Proactive, commercial mindset with strong organisational skills
