Fixed-term contract: 15 months
Hours: 40 hours per week (on-site)
Jade Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a stunning countryside hotel and events venue in the Surrey Hills to recruit an experienced and driven Sales Manager.
This busy 50-bedroom property, set within 14 acres of picturesque grounds, hosts a wide range of weddings, conferences, and events. We are seeking a proactive and commercially focused professional to lead and drive performance across sales, events, and revenue functions.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role suited to a results-driven individual who thrives in a premium hospitality environment and is passionate about both revenue growth and exceptional guest experiences.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with Sales & Marketing leadership, you will take full ownership of the hotel’s sales strategy, performance, and team development.
You will lead a multi-functional team, including:
*Marketing Coordinator
*Revenue Support
*Wedding & Events Assistant Manager
*Wedding Coordinator
*Senior Conference Coordinator
Your focus will be on driving revenue, developing talent, and building a high-performing, collaborative culture.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and deliver annual sales plans aligned with business objectives and budgets
*Drive total revenue across all segments, including corporate, groups, weddings, and events
*Identify new business opportunities while maintaining and growing key accounts
*Oversee pricing strategy, forecasting, and performance reporting alongside revenue support
*Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and client functions
*Manage and monitor sales budgets in line with company expectations
*Ensure consistent brand messaging and oversee marketing campaign execution
*Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
*Champion a guest-focused culture and uphold high service standards
About You:
*Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Sales Manager within hospitality (hotel experience preferred)
*Proven track record of leading and developing commercial teams
*Strong commercial awareness with a history of delivering revenue growth
*Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
*Good understanding of marketing tools, digital platforms, and sales systems
*Highly organised, proactive, and results-driven
