An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Semi Senior Accountant to join a forward-thinking and dynamic accountancy firm based in Preston.
This isn’t your typical practice. The firm takes a modern and innovative approach to accounting, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from local businesses to multi-million-pound enterprises. The RoleAs a Semi Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting services while building strong, long-term client relationships. This is a varied position offering exposure to a wide range of clients and responsibilities, ensuring no two days are the same.
What We’re Looking For*At least 3 years’ experience within an accountancy practice (non-contractor).
*Experience preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, tax returns, bookkeeping and VAT returns.
*Confident managing client relationships and communicating via phone, email and video meetings.
*Strong working knowledge of cloud accounting software, ideally Xero.
*AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified.
*A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and develop.
*Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
