Job Description:
Our client, a Greater Manchester Council, is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Family Safeguarding Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Lead and manage complex children’s safeguarding and child protection cases
*Apply the Family Safeguarding model to improve outcomes for children
*Provide expert risk assessment, analysis, and case direction
*Support and mentor Children’s Social Workers through reflective supervision
*Work closely with multi-disciplinary partners to address parental risks
*Chair and contribute to strategy meetings, core groups, and child protection conferences
*Quality-assure children’s assessments, plans, and statutory interventions
*Support effective pre-proceedings and court work for children
*Model strengths-based, child-centred, and trauma-informed practice
*Ensure practice complies with children’s legislation, guidance, and local procedures
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
