Responsibilities of this role:
*Lead and manage complex child protection and safeguarding cases
*Provide expert assessment, analysis, and decision-making in high-risk situations
*Chair and contribute to multi-agency meetings and strategy discussions
*Mentor, supervise, and support Social Workers and Newly Qualified Social Workers
*Model best practice and ensure high standards of statutory social work
*Quality-assure assessments, plans, and reports to court and panels
*Support effective risk management and safety planning for children and families
*Provide reflective supervision and professional guidance to the team
*Support practice development and continuous improvement within the service
*Ensure practice complies with legislation, statutory guidance, and local procedures
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have minimum of 3 year’s experience working as a Qualified social worker
