The school are keen to appoint a Year 1 teacher with strong KS1 experience and confidence in delivering high-quality phonics and early reading provision. Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour is essential, as the class requires a teacher who can establish firm boundaries, build positive relationships, and implement consistent behaviour strategies.
The Successful Candidate Will:
*Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
*Demonstrate strong phonics and early literacy knowledge
*Confidently manage and support pupils with challenging behaviour
*Build positive relationships with parents and carers
For this Year 1 teacher position you must:
*Have a DBS on the Update Service or happy to apply for one through Academics
*Have a teaching qualification (QTS)
*Have experience and understanding in KS1 teaching
