Commercial Property Solicitor – Autonomy, Progression & Real Local Impact

Location: Barnsley & Penistone (flexible multi-site working)

Are you a Commercial Property Solicitor looking for something a bit more hands-on, where you can genuinely make your mark?

I’m working with a well-regarded, growing firm that’s known for delivering high-quality legal services to local businesses and individuals. Due to continued growth and success in the local area, they’re now looking to bring in a Commercial Property Solicitor to strengthen the team.

This is a great opportunity if you’re looking to take ownership of your work, build strong relationships in the local market, and play a key role in developing a commercial property offering.

The role

You’ll be managing your own varied caseload, including:

*Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
*Acting for both landlords and tenants on commercial leases
*Lease renewals and variations
*Development work
*Option agreements and overage
*Secured lending and property finance
*Portfolio management
You’ll have the autonomy to run files from start to finish, with support from colleagues when needed - but without unnecessary micromanagement.

What they’re looking for

*Qualified Solicitor (open on PQE – it’s more about the right person
*Commercially aware with a pragmatic approach
*Strong client relationship skills
*Experience working with SMEs, developers or lenders would be a bonus
