Teaching Assistant – SEN (Full-Time, Immediate Start)

This setting provides a nurturing, structured environment for pupils aged 4 to 18 with a range of Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), complex needs, and associated behavioural or physical challenges.
Role & Responsibilities*Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups to access learning
*Assist with literacy, numeracy and communication activities
*Encourage engagement, independence and positive behaviour
*Provide personal care and mobility support where required
*Help create a safe, stimulating classroom environment
*Work closely with teachers and therapists to meet individual needs
Working Hours & Pay*Hours: 8.40am to 4.30pm
*Pay: £14.25 per hour
*Interviews taking place in May 2026
What We’re Looking For*Minimum 6 months childcare experience (essential)
*Experience supporting children with SEN highly desirable
*Patient, adaptable and committed approach
*Strong teamwork and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
