Perhaps you have just finished an apprenticeship in freight forwarding or have a year or so import / export experience with a forwarder or shipping company, and every day is roughly the same with no real progression on the horizon?

You’re hungry to learn more, and want to fats track your career in freight by putting the effort in and reaping the rewards?

If your happy just plodding along and still doing the same job you are doing now in 3 years, then this role is not for you.

However, if you are commercially minded, love the operational side of the business, keen to put your ideas forward and want to work closely with the management team, getting yourself noticed throughout the business, is certainly could be.

The Role:

We’ll keep this bit short, but the successful candidate will join an established team of freight professionals moving cargo around the world by sea, air & road, both import & export.

With a commercial mindset, you will also quote clients. Build relationships & rapport and get stuck in with the running of this busy, growing branch.

Customs entry experience not necessary, as the company has their own dedicated Customs team.

Essential Criteria:
*Some import / export or freight forwarding experience
*Commercially minded
*Driven with a can-so attitude
*Excellent communication

Salary & Benefits:

For the right candidate our client is looking to pay between £26K-32K depending on experience. 25 days holiday and loads of other great benefits, including profit share / dividends as you’ll own part of the company!
