Join a fast-growing expat banking team at an exciting point of expansion. This newly created role will support the Head of Expat Banking in building and deepening relationships with high-value clients from the Middle East and GCC who are looking for UK banking services such as opening accounts, placing deposits and other services with the bank. You’ll be at the heart of the client proposition, managing relationships, identifying opportunities to grow deposits, and delivering a first-class banking experience. During 2026, the remit will broaden further as the business evolves to include wealth management advice, making this a standout opportunity for a commercially minded relationship banker who wants to help shape a growing area of the bank.

What you’ll do

*Manage and grow a portfolio of expat clients, with a strong focus on relationship management and client retention.
*Support client acquisition activity across the Middle East and GCC markets alongside the Expat Banking Head.
*Drive deposit growth through tailored conversations, needs-based recommendations, and cross-sell opportunities.
*Deliver responsive, professional service and resolve client queries efficiently.
*Work closely with onboarding, operations, compliance, and product teams to ensure a smooth client journey.
*Maintain strong KYC, AML, and risk standards across all client interactions.
What we’re looking for
*Experience in client relationship management within financial services, wealth management, or international expat banking.
*Strong exposure to high-net-worth or internationally mobile clients.
*A commercial mindset with a proven ability to grow deposits or liabilities.
*Solid understanding of banking products, including deposits, FX, international mortgages, and savings.
*Strong appreciation of AML, KYC, and suitability requirements.
*Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
Why apply
This is a rare opportunity to join a growing business area with real momentum, visible impact, and genuine scope for progression. You’ll be part of a hybrid working environment, with the chance to influence the evolution of the expat banking proposition while helping to attract and retain valuable clients.
