Your new role
Civil Site Supervisor
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000
Location: Glasgow
Hours: 40 Hours, Monday to Friday
We’re looking for a Civil Construction Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient delivery of civil works on our client’s projects, ensuring high standards, compliance and quality across site activities.
*Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities on site, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to specification.
*Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver projects efficiently and collaboratively.
*Ensure all works comply with health & safety legislation, company procedures and method statements
*Monitor progress against the programme, resolving issues and escalating risks where required.
*Carry out site inspections, briefings and toolbox talks, maintaining accurate site records and reports
What you’ll need to succeed
*SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
*CSCS card (Supervisor level or above)
*Proven experience supervising civil construction works (highways, utilities, or infrastructure preferred)
*Strong understanding of health & safety requirements within a construction environment
*Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams on site
*Ability to read and interpret drawings, RAMS and project documentation
*A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong organisational skills
