The RoleThe successful Primary Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, supporting pupils through end of KS1 assessments in a balanced and engaging way.
You will be part of a well-supported team with parallel classes and experienced teaching assistants.
Key responsibilities include:
*Planning and delivering lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
*Supporting phonics, reading, writing and maths development
*Monitoring progress and adapting teaching
*Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and presentation
*Working collaboratively with the KS1 team
The Ideal CandidateThe school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:
*Holds QTS with recent UK primary experience
*Has strong KS1 and phonics knowledge
*Demonstrates effective classroom management
*Is organised, proactive and reflective
*Works well within a team
