Export Groupage Operator – European Road FreightMonday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm

Are you an experienced road freight professional with a strong understanding of European logistics? We are seeking a detail-focused Export Groupage Operator to join our growing team at London Gateway.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking logistics business where your expertise will directly support efficient international freight operations and customer service delivery.
The RoleYou will play a key role in managing European groupage movements, ensuring freight is delivered efficiently from origin to final destination.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Coordinating European groupage shipments across multiple routes
*Managing the end-to-end movement of freight (international and domestic)
*Liaising with customers, overseas agents, and suppliers
*Handling customs documentation and ensuring compliance
*Calculating rates, costs, and chargeable weight (taxable kilos)
*Working collaboratively within a team of 15 (and a wider team of 50)
What We Are Looking ForWe are keen to speak with candidates who have:
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in European road freight operations
*Strong understanding of groupage services and routing
*Confidence in manual cost calculations and pricing structures
*Knowledge of customs processes and documentation
*Excellent communication and customer service skills
*A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
