Finance Assistant – Build Your Career in a Growing Business
Sevenoaks | £30,000–£34,000 DOE
Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Sevenoaks, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a professional and supportive environment.

The Role
Reporting into the finance team, you will support the day-to-day accounting operations and contribute to the accurate and timely delivery of financial information.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing invoices, receipts, and payments
*Assisting with monthly management accounts, including journal postings
*Performing bank and general ledger reconciliations
*Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
*Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
*Assisting with payroll administration and expense claims
*Managing purchase and sales ledger activities
*Handling supplier queries and liaising with internal stakeholders
About you
*Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role
*Solid understanding of accounting principles and processes
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (Sage 50 preferred)
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Able to work independently and as part of a team
*AAT or equivalent qualification (or working towards) desirable
Desirable Experience
*Knowledge of VAT, tax processes, and CIS compliance
*Experience with financial reporting and reconciliations
