Accounts Apprentice – Job Opportunity
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
Salary: £17,000–£21,000
Office based role: must be located locally to Manchester
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within an Employee-Owned Payroll and Accountancy business that is planning significant client-base growth over the next 12 months.


This is a varied and fast-paced role suited to someone confident, eager to learn, and determined to progress. Full training will be provided on the job.


The Accounts Apprentice will support the team with VAT returns, self-assessments, bookkeeping, accounts preparation, and general administrative tasks.


Key Responsibilities
Deliver a structured accounting service, including:


Setting up new client limited companies


Weekly bookkeeping


Registering limited companies for taxes


Gathering quarterly financial information from clients


Preparing quarterly management accounts


Preparing VAT returns


Managing sales and purchase ledgers using Excel and Sage


Progression opportunities are available for apprentices who successfully complete the programme.
