Job Description:
Caretaker - Thatcham | £26,000 - £27,500
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Caretaker / Maintenance Assistant to join a busy estates team, playing a key role in keeping the site safe, secure and running smoothly day-to-day. This is a varied, practical role with real responsibility and no two days the same.

Hours:
* Option 1: 1:30pm - 9:00pm
* Option 2 (rota): Week 1: 1:30pm - 9:00pm | Week 2: 10:30am - 6:00pm
As the Caretaker / Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for: *General maintenance and minor repairs
*Opening/closing the site
*Daily pool testing
*Site security checks + CCTV monitoring
*Acting as Fire Officer
*Supporting events, set-ups and site logistics
*Responding to out-of-hours/emergency issues
The succesful Caretaker / Maintenance Assistant will have the following skills / experience: *Caretaker/maintenance experience
*Full UK driving licence
*Practical, proactive and able to work independently
*Strong awareness of health & safety
*Flexible with hours (including on-call when needed)
