Locum Social Worker - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team

Rate: Competitive (DOE)
Contract: Locum / Temporary

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Social Worker to join a well-established Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in the London Borough of Enfield.

The Role
As part of the CWD team, you will work with children and young people with a range of complex needs and disabilities, supporting them and their families through statutory social work interventions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a caseload of children with disabilities
* Completing assessments, care planning, and reviews
* Working in partnership with multi-agency professionals
* Undertaking safeguarding duties and promoting the welfare of children
* Supporting transitions and long-term planning for young people
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years’ post-qualified experience in a permanent social work role
* Proven experience working within a Children with Disabilities (CWD) team
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act and SEND frameworks
* Social Work England registration
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
