Salary: MPS/UPS Depending on experience - PAYE
Contract: Full time

Are you a qualified English teacher looking for a rewarding short-term opportunity? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to work across a variety of welcoming secondary schools in Canterbury from September through to December 2026 in the first instance.
This is a fantastic chance to gain diverse classroom experience, build connections with local schools, and make a real impact on students’ learning during a key part of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum
*Adapt teaching approaches to suit different classroom environments and student needs
*Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback
*Maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere
*Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
*Collaborate with school staff to support student progress
*Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing standards are upheld at all times
What we’re looking for:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Strong subject knowledge in English
*Adaptability and confidence across different school settings
*A commitment to inspiring and engaging students
*Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references
*Legal Right to Work in the UK
