Job Description:
Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in the Medway Towns, are seeking an experienced, permanent Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving injection moulding machinery and site equipment, helping to minimise downtime and ensure efficient production operations. The position offers a great work-life balance, working a 4-day week, Monday to Thursday, with 10-hour day shifts and no weekend working.
Key Responsibilities*Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment
*Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults
*Support continuous improvement and equipment upgrades
*Work closely with production to ensure smooth operations
What We’re Looking For*Proven maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment (ideally plastics/injection moulding)
*Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
*Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
