A growing and well-established accountancy practice in Tunbridge Wells is looking to recruit a Part Qualified Accounts & Tax professional into a client-facing role with a clear pathway into management.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone studying ACCA/ACA who is keen to develop across both accounts and tax, gain more client responsibility, and progress towards a portfolio management position.
The RoleYou’ll play a key role in supporting a varied client portfolio, gaining exposure across both accounts and tax work.
Key responsibilities include:
*Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a range of clients
*Preparing corporate and personal tax returns
*Supporting the management of a client portfolio and attending client meetings
*Reviewing work prepared by junior staff where appropriate
*Ensuring compliance with HMRC and Companies House requirements
*Assisting with year-end processes including P11Ds and related filings
*Working closely with senior team members on more complex assignments
The CandidateThis role is ideal for someone currently working in practice who is looking to step up and broaden their experience across both accounts and tax.
You will ideally have:
*Part-qualified ACCA / ACA (or actively studying)
*Experience within an accountancy practice
*Exposure to both accounts preparation and tax work
*Experience with software such as Xero and/or Sage
*Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
*Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
The Package*Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)
