Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our very well established client in Bishops Stortford as a Lab Assistant.
The Role-
*Maintain and update stock
*Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment and good laboratory practices
*To accurately dispense materials in a clean and safe manner to finished products, meeting the deadlines required
*To maintain the stock library in a neat & tidy manner in order that contamination can be prevented.
*To transfer finished samples to agreed deadlines to project initiator according to quality guidelines.
*To liaise with the project initiators on any issues that may delay sample deadlines.
*To help maintain stock of all laboratory consumables jars bottles etc.
The Person-
*Good communication at all levels
*Olfactory capabilities.
*Good computer literacy.
*Good time management and multi-tasking skills
*Ability to work under pressure, in a team or as an individual
*Methodical and precise working practices
*Keen eye for detail
The role is a full time position Monday-Friday 8.45-5pm
