Job Title: Attendance Administrator
Location: Wirral
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary (Until July 2026), Term Time Only, Tuesday to Friday
Are you organised, detail-oriented, and confident working with data and systems? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Attendance Administrator to join a welcoming secondary school on the Wirral. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting student attendance and safeguarding processes within a busy school environment.
The Role:*Maintain and update daily attendance records accurately
*Monitor attendance patterns, including absences, lateness, and early departures
*Follow up on unexplained absences and ensure appropriate documentation is received
*Support the school in identifying attendance trends and concerns
*Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:*Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
*Experience using Arbor
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
*Confidence using computer systems and attendance software
*Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify patterns in data
*Full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
Working Hours:*Tuesday to Friday
*8:00am - 4:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
*Term time only
