Job Description:
TST Caseworker - Tenancy Sustainment & Floating Support
Location: PAN London
Pay Rate: £17.14 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Contract: Temporary (Approx. 2 months)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM)
Overview
Central Recruitment is currently recruiting for a TST Caseworker to join a dynamic service supporting individuals aged 18+ who are recovering from homelessness.
This role focuses on delivering high-quality tenancy sustainment and floating support, helping clients maintain independence, improve wellbeing, and successfully move forward into long-term accommodation.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage a caseload of 25-28 clients, delivering regular key working sessions
*Develop strengths-based, outcome-focused support plans with clients
*Carry out risk assessments and implement effective risk management strategies
*Support clients with debt reduction, budgeting, and maximising income
*Work in partnership with statutory and non-statutory services, including accompanying clients to appointments
*Support access to health services, addressing physical and mental health needs
*Promote social inclusion, including access to education, training, and employment opportunities
*Deliver and facilitate group sessions, activities, and drop-ins
*Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns in line with policy and legislation
Requirements
*Experience or strong understanding of working with:*Homelessness / housing support
*Mental & physical health
*Substance misuse (drug & alcohol)
*Safeguarding and risk management
*Tenancy sustainment (arrears, ASB, budgeting)
*Knowledge of housing pathways and move-on routes (PRS, social housing, supported housing)
*Ability to deliver trauma-informed, strengths-based support and motivational interventions
*Experience supporting clients to move into and sustain accommodation
*Strong partnership working and communication skills
*Ability to manage workload effectively and work independently (including lone working)
