The HGV Technician Role:
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a modern fleet, ensuring all vehicles are safe, compliant, and ready for operation. Working within a busy workshop, you’ll carry out diagnostics, inspections, and preventative maintenance while supporting wider operational reliability.
You’ll be part of a close-knit team where collaboration and safety are key, particularly during peak operational periods.
HGV Technician Essential Skills
*Qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience)
*Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
*Knowledge of vehicle systems, trailers, and workshop equipment
*Safety-first mindset with attention to detail
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable:
*HGV C licence
*ADR certification (support provided if not held)
